You suggest the song titles, then watch the cast create hit after show-stopping, high kicking, musical hit in Act I based on your idea.  Cast your vote for Best Song, grab a drink at intermission and return for Act II where, before your eyes, the cast creates a fully improvised and hilarious musical comedy (complete with costumes, lights and choreography) around the very song that the audience chose!  Get ready for one sidesplitting, hilarious ride as some of Chicago’s hottest improvisers join forces with Porchlight Music Theatre to create a hysterical musical comedy.

Program note:
The two-act, five-song/one-musical format of Best Musical! was originally created by improviser Kat Koppett for a production called Spontaneous Broadway that premiered in 1995 in New York City. The format was slightly modified in 1999 for a show called The Next Big Broadway Musical! (co-conceived and music-directed by Best Musical's Matthew Loren Cohen), also produced in New York City and still running as Broadway's Next Hit Musical! Best Musical! is the Chicago premiere of that modified format.
