Scene Shop Rental

Porchlight Music Theatre’s spacious scene shop at 2321 N. Keystone Chicago is able to
accommodate large and small builds and offers a robust inventory of equipment, paint
deck, welding bay, break room, convenient public transit and more. With easy loading-
dock access and nearby truck and storage rental at 4100 W. Fullerton Chicago,
Porchlight is a one-stop shop choice for small, medium and large-scale needs. For more

All renters are required to provide a Certificate of Insurance (COI) with Porchlight Music Theatre listed as the additional insured.

Studio Rental

Three second-floor rehearsal studios of various sizes, each with loads of natural light and amenities. For more information on rentals, please contact info@porchlightmusictheatre.org.

Studio Amenities

• Free parking – in the adjacent lot or on the street
• #76 Bus pulls up directly in front of building (Tripp Ave. stop)
• Loading dock with freight elevator access to second floor
• Common-use restrooms off the main second-floor hallway
• Water coolers in each studio
• Independently controlled heat and air conditioning in each studio
• Chairs and folding tables (please advise if you’ll need more than 10 chairs in a room)
• Audio system with plug in for 3.5mm male (both ends) cable in each room (bring your own adapter cord if needed)
• Pianos, drum set, music stands, rehearsal furniture available on request (additional fees apply)

South Studio: approx. 1600 sq. ft. studio – $30/hour

• Bamboo wood floor
• Full wall of mirrors
• Seating area with chairs and tables
• Full-sized fridge, coffee maker, microwave

East Studio: approx. 1100 sq. ft. studio – $23/hour

• Masonite dance floor
• Mobile mirrors
• Full-sized fridge, coffee maker, microwave

West Studio: approx. 900 sq. ft. studio – $20/hour

• Masonite dance floor
• Mirrors
• Mini-sized fridge, coffee maker, microwave
• Couch, chair ‘conversation’ area

Notes: If you are a single/partial day renter with times outside of normal business hours
(10am-6pm), a facilities coordinator may be required to be on-site during your time here
and is billed at $20/hour + 1 hour of setup/cleanup time. When booking for audition
space, you may be required to secure an additional space for performer holding. Your
holding room may be a shared waiting room with another company.

PROP/COSTUME/CURTAINS/DROPS/TOOLS/LIGHTING & SOUND EQUIPMENT RENTAL

Porchlight has a sizable stock of theatre-making items, including some full or partial
production costume packages.
