This March, Porchlight partners with HERSHEY FELDER PRESENTS – LIVE FROM FLORENCE for Hershey Felder’s latest live stream performance. Felder stars as Italian opera composer Giacomo Puccini with special guests Baritone Nathan Gunn, Soprano Gianna Corbisiero, Tenor Charles Castronovo and Soprano Ekaterina Siurina in HERSHEY FELDER, PUCCINI, premiering Sunday, March 14 at 7pm CT.
Hershey Felder, PUCCINI is the story of a young musician in love with the world of opera, and in particular Giacomo Puccini’s La bohème, Tosca and Madama Butterfly. When, through a series of unusual circumstances, the young musician meets the musical master himself, secrets are revealed that send the young musician soaring.
This new Hershey Felder creation, will spur the imagination and move the musical soul. Filmed and performed on location in Lucca Italy, in the very home where Puccini was born, this new work featuring Felder and three world renowned opera stars promises to be a very special event.
Tickets are now on sale and include the live broadcast on Sunday, March 14 at 7PM CT and a week of extended “on-demand” viewing. The broadcast will also be available for latecomers to purchase through March 21. Viewing access for all ends Sunday, March 21 at 11:59pm CT.
