Porchlight welcomed a sold-out crowd at the 13th Annual Chicago Sings concert fundraiser celebrating The MGM Musicals, this past Monday, Aug. 20 at Second City’s UP Comedy Club. Proceeds from this one-night-only performance benefit Porchlight Music Theatre’s youth education and community outreach programs.
Thank you to the amazing performers who donated their time, and to the generous fans and Porchlight patrons who raised their paddles and helped us surpass our goal. Thanks to them we can reach and impact more children and students through our education and outreach programs. The Porchlight family continues to grow, and we are very grateful for each and every one of you!
Congratulations to James Jensen who has served on the Board of Directors since 2011 and accepted the inaugural Luminary Award for his selfless dedication to not only Porchlight but also the arts throughout Chicago and the nation for more than 40 years.
