COVID Guidelines – Galleria Marchetti

COVID-19 Health & Safety at the 2021 ICONS Gala

Porchlight Music Theatre is taking steps to mitigate the spread of Coronavirus/COVID-19, and following or surpassing current local and federal recommendations. Please note these guidelines may change in response to changing local conditions and updates.

Galleria Marchetti, featuring luxury-tented spaces with adjoining terraces, is the perfect four-season, outdoor venue to hold this year’s ICONS Gala. Porchlight will be hosting the event in the outdoor temperature-controlled tented pavilions and employing the following protocols:

VACCINATION REQUIREMENT

All Porchlight staff, volunteers and performers, as well as all Galleria Marchetti venue staff, are fully vaccinated. All guests must show proof of vaccination prior to the event or show proof of a negative PCR test at check-in, taken within 72 hours of the ICONS Gala.

FACE MASKS

Indoors: Currently, masks will be required regardless of your vaccination status when indoors, which includes check-in, restrooms, cocktail reception and dining room, except when actively eating or drinking. Porchlight will provide disposable masks if needed. All Porchlight and venue staff, including servers, will be masked.

Outdoors: If you are fully vaccinated you are not required to wear a mask when outdoors, although it is recommended when closely interacting with people outside of your household/pod. Unvaccinated guests must wear a mask at all times.

ROOM CAPACITY & AIR FILTRATION

We have intentionally limited the number of guests we are welcoming to the event to half of the venue’s dining room capacity, to provide distance between tables. We are working diligently to ensure the best flow of guests throughout the event. Additionally, Porchlight is bringing in three HEPA filtration machines (that we procured for the in-theatre performances) for enhanced air quality — even though the venue already enjoys significant fresh outdoor air throughout.

SOCIAL DISTANCING & INTERPERSONAL CONTACT

Due to the nature of the event, we are not able to consistently have guests remain at least six feet away from each other. We recommend that guests not engage in hugging, touching, hand-shaking and so forth with other parties outside of their household/pod. We are limiting dining room seating to 50% of the venue’s capacity.

DISINFECTION

Galleria Marchetti and Porchlight are following recommended disinfection protocols. Hand sanitizer will also be available for guests. 

NO MEMORABILIA

Guests attending the 2021 ICONS Gala are asked to NOT bring memorabilia of any kind for Ms. Rivera to sign. You will be immediately asked to return such items to your car or put them in coat check. Thank you for your cooperation and understanding.
