MT Scene Study

Let’s go back to scene work focusing on musical books up to the point of a song beginning. Break down the style and motivation to set up your song and monologue work.

Shred My Book

Our audition books accumulate a ton of songs. This class will focus on what songs still belong in there, what songs to chuck, and what you should be singing instead. NOTE: While participants may be asked to sing brief passages, this class is primarily discussion based, not performance oriented. Taught by Casting and Company Manager and music theatre encyclopedia Chris Pazdernik.

Film Acting and Self Tapes

We’re all acting for the camera now. Theater has joined television and film by using “Self-Tapes” and virtual callbacks for casting. This class will teach you the language of on-camera acting and give you the technical skills needed to nail your Self-Tapes and virtual callbacks for TV, film and theater.
